Job Description
We are looking for a Web Developer who will specialize in integrating analytics into enterprise applications using the Qlik platform. Prior experience with Qlik is not required. The successful candidate will receive guidance and mentorship on Qlik's embedded analytics capabilities and is expected to independently learn and apply Qlik's APIs, SDKs, and embedding technologies.
This role is best suited for developers with strong web development fundamentals who enjoy integrating third-party platforms, working with APIs, and building seamless user experiences.
Note: This position is focused on embedded analytics and application integration and is not a traditional Qlik Dashboard Developer or BI Developer role.
Key Responsibilities
Embedded Analytics Integration
Embed Qlik analytics into web and enterprise applications.
Develop solutions using:
Qlik Mashups
Anonymous Embedding
Authenticated/Secure Embedding
Qlik Embed SDK
Nebula.js
Integrate analytics into existing applications while maintaining a consistent user experience.
Front-End Development
Develop responsive user interfaces using modern web technologies.
Customize embedded analytics to align with application requirements.
Build reusable UI components for analytics integration.
API Integration
Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Learn and utilize Qlik APIs and SDKs to support embedded analytics.
Troubleshoot API integration and authentication issues.
Authentication & Security
Implement secure authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect, or SSO.
Ensure embedded analytics comply with application security standards.
Continuous Learning
Participate in structured mentoring and knowledge transfer sessions on the Qlik platform.
Independently study Qlik documentation, sample applications, APIs, and SDKs.
Stay updated with new Qlik embedding capabilities and web development best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in software or web application development.
Fresh grads who are very interested in web development and have experience with it are welcome to apply.
Experience building modern web applications.
Strong understanding of JavaScript and web technologies.
Experience consuming REST APIs.
Familiarity with authentication concepts such as OAuth, JWT, or Single Sign-On.
Experience using Git or other version control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies independently.
