The rain pours a little, as blessings poured in heavily.
As part of pay-it-forward initiative of the company, Micropinnacle Technology Corporation, through MTC Christmas Assistance and Resources Enhancement Support or MTC C.A.R.E.S, conducts community and relief assistance to the typhoon victims, the elderly, PWDs, orphans, and widowers of Barangay Agpo-Camagong-Tabog in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur last December 17, 2020.
More than 170 families were given early Christmas gifts as the beneficiaries receive their packages filled with canned goods, noodles, coffee, sugar, hygiene items and detergent powders, 5kilos of rice, medicines, and facemask. Following the IATF guidelines on conducting public activities, organizers have implemented strict social distancing and sanitation inside the venue. Beneficiaries also arrived by batch to limit overcrowding in the area.
For Gener Manantan, the company’s CEO, the year would not be complete without giving back to the community. “For eight years now, we have been consistent with our advocacy to always help the underprivileged people and community in the country. More than just a business entity, we are also a team who’s always ready to give help to those in need”.
A donation drive was held prior to the relief activity. Clients, partners, and employees all did their share in this year’s CARES activity for the targeted beneficiaries. In the past years, MTC C.A.R.E.S has mobilized social activities including medical check-ups, gift giving, donation drives, and livelihood skills training for the indigent and underprivileged citizens and children.
